Trevor Eissler’s lecture this weekend!

February 23, 2012 | Seton News

Join us for this unique opportunity to hear a Trevor Eissler share his Montessori parent perspective!

Seton Montessori Institute and School is pleased to announce that we are hosting a talk featuring the acclaimed writer and speaker on Montessori education, Trevor Eissler.

Eissler’s talk is titled “Montessori Children: Entrepreneurs” and will address the concept of ownership of one’s own educational experience that the Montessori environment enables and cultivates in each student and the parents’ role in supporting this growth.

The cost of this event is $20 per person or couple, and it includes a copy of either his book entitled Montessori Madness: A Parent to Parent Argument for Montessori Education or his children’s book entitled 4,962,571 – A Children’s Book for Ages 3-8.

Trevor Eissler is a father of three Montessori students, a business jet pilot and flight instructor, and the author of three books relating to Montessori education. He lives in Austin, Texas.  Trevor’s book and message were nicely summarized in a five and a half minute FastDraw video from YouTube – click here to watch it.  He recently founded a group called the Montessori Madmen with several other Montessori fathers (and one mother) who are on a mission to help create a Montessori consciousness in mainstream society.

We look forward to seeing you there!
