Dust off those materials on the upper end Early Childhood math shelves! Seton’s resident Math expert, Karen Riggenbach, will bring her lively wit and methodical presentation skills to bear on these important math activities:

  • Fractions
  • Multiplication layout with the bead bars
  • Finger charts for addition and multiplication
  • Estimating
  • Graphing

Our Presenter’s Bio:

Karen RiggenbachKaren Riggenbach is a member of the Seton Montessori Institute Early Childhood teacher education program faculty as well as its advisor. She has over twenty years of experience as our Early Childhood Math presenter and more than thirty years of Montessori classroom experience. Karen holds AMS certification in Early Childhood, and she received a B.A. in Elementary Education from Dominican College, Chicago, IL. She continues to pursue her love of learning in coursework focused on Early Childhood Special Education.
