Course Description:The goal of this beginning workshop is to understand the specific needs of children at risk for learning differences and provide strategies matching the Montessori educational method to those needs. The content of the workshop includes:

  • An Overview of Learning Disabilities
  • Understanding The At-risk Child
  • Applications of the Montessori Method and Techniques
  • Oral & Written Language Program
  • Social Skills Development/Discipline
  • Practical Life, Sensorial & Mathematics for the At-risk Child

Prerequisites: Must have some Montessori classroom experience
