Seton Montessori School has been educating children for over 45 years and offers all day and half day programs for children from infancy through sixth grade.
Our classrooms present a unique combination of freedom and structure. Our highly-qualified and experienced teachers prepare the learning environment, support children in making choices, present curricular material and observe and record progress in order to better follow the interests and needs of each individual, fostering their growth and curiosity. Seton students enjoy learning about nature, exploring music, developing their dexterity and coordination through physical activity and exercising their creativity through experiences in art.
In each of our programs, through the use of carefully prepared materials and activities, coupled with communication with teachers and interaction with peers, children grow in personal independence, concentration and self-motivation. Montessori students exhibit a genuine love and passion for learning, as they have all the necessary tools to feed their curiosity and support their learning process.
Accredited by the American Montessori Society (AMS) and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), Seton Montessori School is a lab school for the Seton Montessori Institute, a Montessori teacher education program based in Clarendon Hills, Ill.
