Anna Perry is the Executive Director of Seton Montessori Institute and Schools and serves as a presenter for all of Seton’s academic programs. She is an expert on Montessori education, school leadership and administration, child development, and the Montessori philosophy. In addition to lecturing for Seton, she oversees the operations of Seton Montessori Institute, Seton Montessori School and the Montessori Children’s House of North Barrington. Her prior experience includes several years of teaching children ages 3 to 6 at Seton Montessori School and at West Side Montessori School in New York, NY. Anna has served as an adjunct faculty member at Erikson Institute and Elgin Community College and is a frequent speaker and author on topics as diverse as environment preparation, parent counseling, observation and documentation, school and camp administration, and Montessori leadership.
Anna holds AMS credentials in Early Childhood Education and in Montessori School Administration. She received a B.A. in psychology from Tufts University in Medford, MA, and a Masters in Education with a focus in Administration, Planning, and Social Policy from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education in Cambridge, MA.
