Kazmo Qutab

Kazmo Qutab is an Assistant Teacher in the Elementary Program. He began his Montessori training in the summer of 2023, but it had been a long time coming! As a teenager, Kazmo started working with children in a daycare setting and served as a summer camp counselor for several years. After seeing a TED talk on the importance of creativity in education, he became particularly interested in alternative education methods. The Montessori philosophy answered many concerns he uncovered while earning his Master’s in Elementary Education and during his public school teaching experience. In addition to his M. Ed., Kazmo has two degrees in Theatre/Acting and works as a professional actor in the Chicagoland area during his time off. Kazmo loves spending time with his wife, baby daughter, two adoptive sons, dog, and aquatic frog. He is honored to join the Seton Montessori community!
