Description: Lidu Academy, a new Assyrian academy located in a brand-new, state-of-the-art building in Lincolnwood, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Teacher and Program Leader. This role combines administrative oversight with active involvement in teaching and nurturing young children. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with DCFS regulations, foster a safe and enriching environment, and lead a team of educators to deliver exceptional care and education to children. A key component of the curriculum includes teaching the Assyrian language, and the ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about integrating cultural education into the classroom. In addition to these responsibilities, the Head Teacher and Program Leader will be instrumental in training and mentoring team members, promoting professional development, and ensuring that all staff adhere to the highest educational and ethical standards. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, motivated, and a strong team player, with a willingness to learn and contribute to a collaborative environment.
